YEAST ROLLS
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup soft shortening
- 4 cups unbleached flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 cup water
Directions- Heat milk to boiling
- Add sugar, shortening and salt
- Stir
- Put flour in large bowl
- Drop 2 eggs in the middle of flour
- Pour in cool milk
- Add the package of yeast that has been mixed with lukewarm water to let yeast disolve
- Mix well by hand or with beaters
- let rise for 3-4 hours until it reaches the top of the pan. (Be sure to grease pan so dough can rise.)
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees
